A great beach just over the road from Time Out Hotel and with Daddy's resturaunt at the front of the beach bars. Loungers available for cheap price. Safe for swimming or wading. Great stretch of sand. Showers available.

It's a nice beach with places to eat and even though it's public, there are local guys to set up chairs and umbrellas. Legal or not, it's nice that you don't have to do it yourself.

Fantastic beach close to Lawrence gap. Water has some great breakers, and adds a little bite to the setting. The sea is warm, and loved swimming late into the evening. Fantastic sunsets, and plenty of water sports available.

It may have been because we arrived in the wake of Hurricane Maria but the beach at Dover isn't the gentle warm turquoise blue waters usually attributed to the Caribbean Sea. There were some massive breakers and I mistimed my jump and was knocked rolling...More

The beach was Nice, there are better beaches on the island I think but for us this was convenient. There was a lot of seaweed on the sand, people did try and clean this off but it was an endless battle. The sea is lovely...More

This beach was clean though the water was a bit rough. I was informed by locals that it can get calmer depending on the time of year. Jet skis and other watersports are available for rent.

We have been October,January and june and found it to be ok. Try beach near butterfly hotel always empty. Als rotis next door are fab. Miami beach is also quiet with fast foods nearby and turtle watching from the hill. Enjoy
