We had a guided tour inside the building, and a beautiful walk all around the structure, in the magnificent garden. The staff is really well prepared, kind and helpful, you can satisfy your curiosities about the ancient noble families who lived there. Ps. The staff...More

The tour guide was excellent providing history of the house, family, and Lucca in general. Combine with visits to other villas nearby

Historic villa that is still occupied by the family. Nice gardens, inside of the building is in decent shape and has historic furnishings including frescoes.

A short inside tour and lovely manicured gardens. Worth hiring a guide to see a few different villas in a day. Serena of Wishversilia was wonderful for this villa and Villa Reale.

Worthwhile visiting the villa and the parc. The Tour is short in multiple languages but gives a good insight in Life of Lucca's rich families

OK, so we had to engage the most wonderful person to take us to this hidden gem (see wishversilia.it and its bespoke concierge service) but superbly worth this extra effort--both extensive gardens, outbuildings and fantastic ground-floor interiors of a real patrician 17th c. country retreat....More

If I want to drive over in my rental car from Montecatini Terme and have time to tour just one of the villas near Lucca, which would you recommend and what time/day of the week is best if we would like to tour the inside as well as gardens and are not coming with a group tour or guide? We would be coming sometime between March 22 and 25. Thank you!

Mi sembra che siano accettati anche i cani al guinzaglio, ma non ne sono sicuro al 100%.
