A tour company had booked a 3-night stay at this remote location, as several day excursions were scheduled. The hotel is surrounded by vacant lots, and seems to be situated in a largely residential area. Since there’s an excellent on-site restaurant, and the tour group visited area sites during the day, the remote location was of little consequence. There is a pool/spa and an area golf course, but there was no time to enjoy any of these opportunities. The architecture has faux Moorish arches that serve no purpose, but this area of Sicily had been colonized by the Moors centuries ago, so I imagine the design is in keeping with the architecture of area villages. (Miami Beach hotels often feature faux Art Deco gewgaws.) The room was clean and spacious, featuring a small balcony and all amenities—fridge, safe, HDTV, bath with modern fixtures. Given that there are only two hotels in the area, and I have no comparison, this seems to be an excellent choice. Perhaps the only disadvantage for visitors not part of a tour group is the remote location. There are no street lights and to visit an off-site restaurant a mile away, the tour bus took us for the evening meal. I don’t believe public transportation to the hotel is available, so take this into consideration if a rental vehicle is not part of your travel budget.

Stayed here for three nights in early December 2015. Strange design and architecture. Remotely located from everything including supermarket and beach. Felt isolated and trapped. Staff inattentive - would not get off phone to assist. Door to room would barely latch. Room lights would go off without warning. Breakfast was tolerable but eggs were cold and coffee so-so. Ordered freshly cooked eggs and a cappuccino. Wait staff at breakfast seemed annoyed anyone was there.

We stayed here for three days. The rooms are elegant and very clean. The bed was comfortable. It is located about 20 minutes from downtown, so not very convenient to activities. I did not use the spa facilities so cannot speak about them. For two days the WiFi was only available in the lobby and it was weak and unreliable. The woman who worked at reception seemed indifferent to the problem. My shower was small. It took well over 5 minutes of letting the water run to get warm water and the shower was very weak. My showers were not very comfortable. The breakfast was adequate and the dining staff were very friendly. In my opinion they need to address the water issue and WiFi

Pretty cool to see a beautiful resort in Sicily. I went in July 2014 and was in the middle of a storm for the day.
