In southernmost Skane country, Sweden, a surprising castle with diagonal towers surrounded by a lake and pleasant garden.

we stopped by just as the duck hunt was about to start so we couldn't wander. We could hear all the shots from the hunters and came back later in the day and we did walk the beautiful grounds.

Love the architecture of this castle, the fact it has a moat around it, and many interesting buildings in the surrounding area Plus a very neat antique market across the street and live theatre outside in the summer makes this an appealing stop to make

We decided to have coffee here while visiting Skåne. The setting is quite nice but the Chateau is off limits. The cafe did not have much to offer and the atmosphere around the cafe could certainly be improved. Not recommended.

but still very nice to admire from outside. The garden is nice, even off the blooming season, I was there mid September. Short drive from Ystad. I enjoyed the detour, it was worth the time,

We where there during springtime, so the park was not full with flowers, but even like this we had a nice walk. It is quiet and beautiful:)

A small castle outside Ystad that has a beautiful garden that can have a picnic in. Or just buy something in the café at the castle.

I travelled a long way to see the gardens here and was not disappointed. Beautiful and quiet. Easy to find and parking your car is no problem.
