I am about 95% sure that I took this tour when I was in Hebron about a month ago, mainly since I did so unexpectedly. I was very timid due to the large security presence in the city so when the guide came up to me and showed his credentials, I felt lucky to find someone that can help me navigate the complex city. Unfortunately some of the other people that I was sticking around with missed out on the opportunity though and left after seeing the Cave of the Patriarchs but there is so much more to the city than that. I haven't forgotten Hebron at all. Everything I saw there stuck with me and made such an impact. If anyone visits the area, they should go to Hebron, it made more of an impact than anywhere else for me. If you go to Hebron, go with the Hope Center because of the connection that the guide has with many of the citizens of Hebron.

The tour was very informative and the guide was really open and nice. He showed us the city from different sides and improved so our understanding of what it means to live under the occupation.

Ayman was a great host at the Hebron Peace Centre! I came to visit Hebron without a tour booked, despite this him and his colleagues made time to take me on the tour which I highly recommend. Ayman knows everyone so you get to stop and meet lots of local people who were incredibly friendly. Well worth the price!

I just returned from my visit from Hebron and I'm still overwhelmed by the warmth and the hospitality with which the Hebron peace center (HPC) welcomed us! During my visit I learned that the situation in Hebron is very different from the other cities in the West Bank. In order to get to the center, me and my friends had to cross a checkpoint. At the center, we were introduced to the activities of the HPC and had a very delicious Palestinian lunch. A volunteer offered us a tour through the H1 area of the old city and provided us with information about history, culture and the recent political situation. During the tour, we visited the Abraham mosque as well as a traditional ceramic and a glass factory. I had the opportunity to talk to locals which was very enlightening for me and helped me understand the dynamics of the city. I also walked through the Shuhada street which is the street in the H2 area that connects the settlements with each other and which is prohibited for Palestinian to be passed.

Long story short: Go there and join the adventure! :)
