When we couldn’t find a place to park in Pienza we drove a few miles to this charming little Tuscan hilltop town. We had a delicious lunch at Trattoria Osenna. Interesting architecture in this unspoiled town. Worth a visit.

Strolling the streets, eating gelato, entering quaint churches, watching people, walking the walls ... utterly charming

A better class of shops and cafés here and plenty to occupy the visitor for an hour. We were very glad we detoured to see it.

Very quiet and clean. The main road and the gardens give you a sense of how it must of been in the middle ages. Only negative point: parking is "free" but limited at max 1 hour... So if you're having lunch or dinner, make sure...More

This quiet, clean little town is easily walkable and friendly. I wouldn’t make a special trip to see it, but would recommend stopping if you are driving through.

Besides an interesting walk around the old village (do not miss their public historical garden and the old church), you might enjoy other cultural events/expositions and their wine route (Strada del Vino Orcia)

San Quirico was the closest city to Agritourisimo I’ll Rigo where we stayed. It has a pleasant downtown which is partly pedestrian. There are a number of restaurants in various price ranges. Also has gas and a COOP grocery store that came in handy. The...More

I'm sorry, but I don't know. We had a car so it wasn't anything we looked into. Good luck, and have a nice trip.
