With signage on the main walking road, this museum is a good chance to learn about premium crystal history and production, with wording in several languages.

If you like looking at lovely glassware in a quiet spot and have a half hour or more to spare, do visit this museum. It's only two floors. When we were there, there was a special exhibition of colourful modern glass sculptures, beautifully placed around the museum. There was a history of glassmaking in Colle Val d'Elsa, and displays of glassware through the centuries. A lot of thought had gone into the design and displays, with interesting cascades of glassware here and there. There was a lovely small 'crystal mirror maze' with atmospheric background music and tinkling glasses.…
