A wonderful place to spend Sunday afternoon, eating wonderful food and 'people watching'. Parking is best by the municipal pool and then walk up (5mins).

Worth a visit during the day to admire the construction and history of the buildings. At night it is centre of the town with several restaurants to pass away the evening with lovely food and drink

Nice selection of bars and restaurants, worth a stop for dinner or drinks, in the evening, opposite the tourist info.

The place is nice in the daytime, but best after 10 pm, when all bars and restaurants are open and packed with people, mostly locals, form young to old. You can enjoy a real Spanish experience, without the touristic touch.

We dropped into Archidona while staying nearby at Cortijo, La Haza. It was a bit of a dull day but the unusual plaza was well worth a look
