The original lightstation has been replaced by a steel tower, which lacks character. Not worth the extra time needed to get to the tower from the dead-end trail.

Flowerpot Island is a must see. Fascinating shoreline and wonderful hiking/biking trail. It was a beautiful place.

Loved it. Its right on the shores of the lake and on top of a rock. Saw it from a distance. A must visit if you can hike well.

From the dock, we followed the 1.3km lighthouse trail (30min) to the lightkeeper’s house. We did not get to visit the light tower and observation deck because they are closed for renovations this summer. Unlike other lightkeeper’s houses we have seen, this one on Flowerpot...More

We visited the lighthouse and were delighted to see how they lived. The people (volunteers) that were there were helpful and informative.

Very enjoyable visit to the house maintained by local volunteers. What loving and faithful dedication! Very informative too. The lighthouse part not as well handled.

There are 6 camping spots that are first come first serve. I suggest contacting Fathom Five National Marine Park for further details!
