Scenic lakeshore walk with various sculptures dedicated to victims of volcano eruption. Within walking distance to Nishiyama Crater Walking trail, which also worth a visit.

I didn't have time to walk the whole park and came just to see the mask sculpture, and it was worth the few minutes we stopped by. Stunning piece of artwork.

I like the views. You can see the lake toya, the Nakajima in the middle of the lake Toya, the Pacific ocean and a volcano vent of Mt. Usu and Mt. Showashinzan. The rope way was smooth ride.

Visitors of Lake Toya can take a leisure walk from one end of the lakeside walkway to the other end; while enjoying both the sight of Lake Toya, as well different sculptures by various artists. Many of them are beautifully done.

This walk takes 70 minutes return with lots of interesting information boards explaining the effects of the volcano. Very interesting and great to see the regeneration of the land. Well done for leaving this as a memorial park.

Nice way to spend time in lake toya with a fun ropeway. Ropeway ride safe and stable but there is a lot of walking if you want to see the crater view.

Dear Claudia K
Thank you very much for coming to Lake Toya at this time.
There is a Lake Toya long run fireworks display held from spring to autumn. The tunnel of illumination is held in winter. You can enjoy them all year round.
We look forward to your next visit.

These parklands are just delightful. We arrived too early for hotel check-in so popped in to Family Mart and grabbed some sandwiches and had a picnic in the park. The combination of the wonderful panoramic views out over the Lake Toya and the amazing artworks were quite idyllic. Make sure you make the time to walk right through this area.

Lovely park for a lunch or a stroll. Lovely artwork and beautiful views of the lake. The piece with the large mask frames photos of the islands beautifully.

In the summertime, the view across the water from this park is absolutely stunning. The water couldn't be more blue, and it's peaceful as can be.
