Hot Springs are not numerous in the area of Muar and this is the only one supposed to be hot (but Lukewarm). Visitors sometimes find it hard to locate this as it is off the Main Road but the locals know about it. Water is sulfuric but not too clean but it is said that it is good for skin... More

The site is located between Parit Jawa and Batu Pahat old trunk road at Jalan Air Panas of Kampung Sungai Gersik, Muar (approximately 16km from Parit Jawa town). The hot spring site is clean, well-maintained and surrounded by village enclave with greenery landscape and pavilions. There is a children pool and a 3 rings pool of water provides different temperatures... More

Free acess to a hot pool surrounded by shady pavillons, shower and toilets. Dislike: Member of islamic popiulation wash out their clothes by entering hot water fully covered, including underwear. Does not meet hygenic western standards.

The hot-spring is OK and well-maintained. You can have a soak with your foot but you cannot swim or bath in there unlike The Lost World Tambun or Felda Hot Spring. You will feel as good as your hometown.

This is not a place to get soaked. Like everyone mentioned, there are 3 pool rings of water but it appeared to me only the middle one is natural which is terribly hot and there is absolutely no talk about even just placing a palm on the surface just for a try. Water within the outer 2 pools surrounding the... More

Not advise for those do not have own transport. It comes in a circle of 3 layers. Inner one which is too hot and can only dip for a few seconds, well no problem if you want to boil eggs as it's very hot. Outer is cold and middle one is not hotter than a Spa hot pool, water was... More

We visited the Grisek hot spring on 14th Dec 2012. We spent the morning half at Gunung Pulai waterfall and decided to leave for the hot spring at 11 am. We used the N-S highway to get to Yong Peng but decided to have chicken rice at Batu Pahat. We arrived at the chicken rice stall which is in a... More
