A great "starter" horse ride before attempting the ascent to the base of the towers. But if you are a beginner be warned, this involves several river crossings and a steep descent down to the lake. If this is your first time, you may want to ask to be led on these parts of the excursion.

This lake itself is pretty because of a turquoise color from glacial water. But the reason to visit the lake is really all about the views of the mountains, which are spectacular. The lake has limited services, and is not really a recreation site. So the lake is hard to rate; it should get 5 stars for the views, but... More

Easy hike, nice views around, nothing sensational, views of the far surrounding mountains, and reflections in the lake

An essential vista (and central viewpoints) that can't be missed on your trip to Torres Del Paine National Park. If you're hiking the W Trek, as we were, you will spend a lot of time gazing at this Lake. Beautiful in any weather.

The colors of the lakes in Torres del Paine is not to be missed. You cannot really capture it on camera. This lake is dramatically turquoise. I haven't seen anything like it anywhere else in the world.

When visiting Torres de Paine you can simply not miss the large lake. From the main entrance you'll drive by it if you head to Lago Pehoé and Lago Grey. The green grayish colour is unique and makes for some absolutely spectacular pictures.

One of the bets places you can visit in Torres del Paine, outside the W circuit. Recommended, especially in a sunny day.
