Quite the exercise to find . . . just stay on the road and keep going even if Google Maps say they cannot locate you. Beautiful viewing of the channel and take a walk along the rocky shore. Well worth the drive but really disappointing...More

Had a great visit here even though the lighthouse was starting to look 👀 a little rundown. The views from the rocky shoreline are extremely superb and beautiful. Did not notice any major issues and problems with the gravel access road from Meldrum Bay. The...More

I visited the lighthouse about 8 years ago. It was a vibrant business. Great campsites and the restaurant was in full swing. This visit made me very sad as it was very run down. The restaurant was gone and the lighthouse looked abandoned. The campsites...More

The lighthouse and building need much work - but you're really here for the shoreline, nature and sunsets.

The lighthouse was not open, under renovations, but the shoreline is amazing! Kids had a great time walking on the rocks and following the shoreline. Very nice place, well worth the long drive in!

Beautiful place to watch the sunset over the lake (with Cockburn island nearby). Campsites available too, which looked interesting, but didn't have time to investigate.

Getting to the Mississagi Lighthouse and Campground is worth the challenge, my tip... do some research on the route you're going to travel because you will lose cellular coverage so a proper GPS unit will be better. Once there the historic facilities are really nice...More

It has been 34 years since our first visit here and we keep on coming back again and again. Any description I might try to write here would be grossly inadequate as anyone who has come here will tell you. The Campground is clean, but...More

Great site for history buffs. Houses are open as museums and look virtually left unchanged from early 1900s. Shoreline is stunning. Wreck for scuba diving off the shore too. Campsites available and sometimes the restaurant is open.
