I visited Saint Cloud one morning in September 2013. After taking the metro to the station, you need to walk across a bridge and then cross to the side with the park. It's quite a large park. It was quite a while before there were any statues or fountains. Then I ended up walking uphill for quite a while before... More

St Cloud, one of France's wealthiest cities, probably isn't on every tourists to-do list when visiting Paris. If my family didn't live here, I would've never known about it like many of you. The Domaine National de St Cloud, also known as le Parc de St Cloud, is a beautiful park offering lush gardens and beautiful lawns. You can find... More

So much important events of french History took place there. All are reported on plates spread all over the place. View over Paris is awesome, so need to go on a sunny day. Most beautiful trees, flowers and ponds are on the very top of the park

The grounds are beautiful and nice to walk around, the fountains were off (bummer) maybe they are on the weekend only. Easy to get to by Metro and little village is quite and good food spot to buy lunch and go picnic at the park. The building is not open at this time

I went there because it was quite close to my office and it seemed a good idea to relax after work. Boy, was I in for a surprise. The views over Paris are amazing and I loved walking on the park alleys, that already have an autumn feel about them. I got also to see the roses alley, which was... More

With all the talk of the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo we decided to visit Napoleon's favourite Park at Saint Cloud in the South West of Paris. What a beautiful Park even if the chateau no longer exists. There are wonderful cascade fountains although they were not working when we were there. I think perhaps on Thursdays and... More

I have visited Paris a number of times, but had never heard of Parc St Cloud and it doesn't appear in the regular guide books. Our hotel in Boulogne recommended it to us and it was well worth the visit. Amazing views over Paris and typical French gardens, without the crowds, and free to enter. My only criticism is that... I did not visit in person - so perhaps my interest might be described as a 'virtual visit' I was reading, the standard text for amateur historians 'Medieval People' by Eileen Edna Power first published by Methuen and Co, in about 1924 and now available to download via Project Gutenberg or alternatively in other versions and formats - I have... I found the Parc St Cloud on my recent visit to Paris. Actually I found it by accident at the end of the Number10 Metro line when I went looking for the Albert Kahn Museum in Bologne one of the ritzier suburbs of Paris. I saw a sign pointing to the park and having nothing else to do I followed... More
