A Must See

Beautiful hike, and not too difficult. I would recommend going around sunset, as this vantage point is one of the most beautiful on the island during this time of the day.

Lovely bay, super clear water, nicely secluded. Be careful anchoring, we got fined for being just inside. And good reasons, there seems to be a specific seaweed which need protection. But super spot.

Great small bay on Panarea island, small stone beach, not easy to get into the water and back. Incredible transparent sea, nice cliffs

Really nice cala with exceptional crystal clear waters. Good for some recreational fun snorkeling. Go early in the morning or in the afternoon before sunset. It tends to get quite crowded especially end July August. It's a must in Panarea. Look for the boat selling Granita a Mare. A real great experience. I recommend it. CIAO

A very beautiful stop but mandatory for daytripping boats so it is always busy in summer. There are better spots for swimming in the Aeolians and even in Panarea. The bay on the north side of San Pietro out of sight of the town for one but it is only accessible by boat.

We were with our 5 years old so we took a taxi (golf cart) from the harbor to the stop of the restaurant Zimmari (9 euro) then we walked for 10 minutes to Cala Junco since this is the only way to get there. Because of the streets that are a bit steep a young kid may find it challenging,... More

Cala Junco is my favorite place on Panarea, and anybody who is reasonable fit should visit it. The walk probably takes about an hour from the Panarea port (it could be faster, but we kept stopping all the time to take photos). The first 45 minutes are along the town roads. The last 15 minutes are on the trail that... More

my headline basically sums up our little outing. There is not an awful lot to see when you get ton the prehistoric settlement but the walk there is good (lots of stairs - so a minimum of physical fitness is required) and the views of the bay and to the other islands are magnificant.

Being a historical sight , boats are not allowed to enter , but you can swim and float to your hearts content . The water is the most beautiful collection of different blue's . Bellissima x
