Something for a fan of Che or a student of history. It tells volumes of Cuba under Fidel.

I never had an appreciation of Che Guevara; certainly from a Cubans perspective. After you visit the museum, you will appreciate why you see more of Che, than Fidel in Cuba. Photos were prohibited inside the memorial. A good solid stop, if you are visiting...More

Che was honestly a nut, but he is revered in Cuba and was undoubtedly a champion of the underprivileged. His mausoleum (and that of the others killed in Bolivia) is interesting. The museum is more so. I also found the soldiers cemetery for veterans of...More

Really enjoyed the mausoleum and museum but didn't enjoy the fact that our credit card was stolen from the backpack which we had to leave with an attendant

The city of Santa Clara maintains deep ties to Che. He liberated the city in December 1958 and that marked the end of the Batista regime. This monument is dedicated to Che, the revolutionary hero, whose remains were recovered from Bolivia and re buried here...More

Amazing dedication site for Che and the other soldiers. The museum and statue were really impressive! Only negative was that our bags which we had to leave in a separate room were 'robbed'. We only discovered the next day that a credit card and almost...More

a very respectful mausoleum to Che and his fellow fighters who died in terrible ways, and the museum was a very interesting place to visit

A small museum with photo's and objects that were part of the Che Guevara's life. Not that many exhibit's really for someone who was so important in Cuba's history, it's next to the mausoleum.

Nice grounds, interesting building as well as interesting contents. You have to queue in the heat if you are not with an organised tour but well worth the wait.

Hi ..... I have no idea, check the website. I could well imagine that it is open - after all, Che Guevara was not someone who held religion dera to his heart.
