Very hot and a long way up, but worth the climb. Very interesting guided tour in English and lots to see in the castle.

Castelnaud is a beautiful medieval castle. It's really worth a visit: good explanations (guided tours in French, English, Dutch), excellent museum about medieval weapons, some larger machines have been rebuilt and can be seen in the courtyard. In the summer they also organise sword fighting...More

We found a review on Trip Advisor and decided to visit Castelnaud and ended up having such a good day. Price to enter is very reasonable, but well worth it all for the views from the top of the castle itself. Lots of interesting shops...More

Arrive early for this attraction - we arrived at 10am on Monday, and by the time we left at midday, there was a substantial queue at the entrance. We took the self - guided tour, which was full of interesting artefacts. There are interactive displays...More

Hi, the streets leading to the chateau are steep, and the attraction itself has many steps. I would avoid. There are balloon rides over the chateau if you fancy that!
