This huge park is a precious of its kind, with plenty of cataloged flora. The result of years of hard work from its owner, the American Public Health Master Steven Winn Alexander.

We met the owner through a friend and had a personal tour. Beautiful place, even though it was not the rainy season and it was fairly dry. Great place to learn about biodiversity, and to bemoan the effects of soy farming all around the area...More

The Bosque is a private forest reserve owned by Steven and Aurea. It is located in the same region (about half hour drive south from the city centre) where Henry Wickham (who took the rubber seeds out of Brazil from this area) set up house....More
