Only a few minutes from the train station and Railway Museum. Superb exterior and the inside is a stunning blend of traditional and now. Entrance is 4 euros but as the Egyptian hall was temporarily closed, the entrance was free. New I- Pad guide -...More

Thank you! We appreciate your kind words about our museum. We’re glad you enjoyed the visit, and we're sorry you couldn't visit the Egyptian room.

Some of the art pieces are quite good, but the library is impressive. There must be interesting information contained in those books that Victor was able to collect due to his privileged position.

We were in principle more interested in the building itself than in the collection of paintings, but were very much surprised to find that the collection of paintings is absolutely incredible. It is really worth a visit! The entrance fee is very cheap (3 euros).

Hardly anybody knows about this little museum and library. It contains several Prado Museum pieces on loan: Goya, Greco, etc. Very good collection of Catalan painting from the 1930's.

Very difficult to categorise this museum, it has all sorts of art, from local wall tiles to works from world renowned artists. Modern sculptures and an Egyptian mummy. Very easy to spend a couple of hours here.

It's a small museum, but there's a good range of various exhibits. Well presented. Nice rooms. Modest entry fee. Spent 90 minutes there, without rushing.

This gallery/museum is not what you expect to find in a somewhat sleepy town of 50,000 inhabitants. Thanks to the inflow of rich people returning from Cuba in the late 19th century, a fantastic art collection is on display in the Victor Balaguer. You will...More
