We were staying in Montserrat and found this tour almost by accident but it was well worth the drive. Edu was a brilliant guide with an obvious love and understanding of his animals. Both our horses were well looked after and very well trained. We are both novices but our guide gave us loads of tips that were useful. The scenery of the mountains and town were amazing. The small town of Talamanca has some historic importance which Edu shared with us so it was really cool to be able to ride through it on horseback. His dogs are a friendly bonus too! Riding horses with Violeta and Edu was the highlight of my trip! They are both very nice and the nature around Talamanca is beautiful. Violeta picked up the group of five people with her car and drove us to the stables. I very much recommend it to every visitor to Barcelona.

We had a lovely time in Talamanca during our 5 hour trip. We rode the same horses as three years ago! Our first trip was in 2016 and this year the second tour.
Edu is a real animal lover and that shows. He is really kind to his horses and the rescue stories of each horse is amazing. His dogs are also very nice!
Till next time Edu!

As a family group with no or little horse-riding experience, we loved Edu's relaxed approach as he guided us over local walking tracks and through the streets of his glorious town up to the highest point of Talamamca where we took in sublime views of the region including views of Montserrat. Although we did not speak Spanish or Catalan, Edu managed to communicate the basics of riding and the horses were calm and responsive to his instruction. It was a picture-perfect day with great company, and our best Catalan experience. I would highly recommend a ride at Centre Hipic with Edu.

Took my wife and 9 year old daughter here from Barcelona for a 1.5 hour ride. Well, as we are all novices, it was more a led trek around the stunning village. Edu was a fantastic host, reassuring, knowledgable and friendly. We trotted from the stables around the area and the village - a really good way to appreciate this historic hill fortified village. Stunning views and such a lovely place. Edu gave us some history about the area and told us about the rescue horses he homes. An easy drive from Barcelona on the toll motorway, followed by a short stage of very windy hill roads. Nothing too tricky though, just take it easy. Overall it turned out to be a highlight of our trip. If we were better riders, longer would have been fun too.

We went for a lovely all day ride through amazing Cataluñya scenery! Great to disconnect from city life. Edu is a great guide and the fact that he takes everyone for a few rounds in the arena before going out is usually a good sign.
I really liked my horse Paloma - very gentle, forward and responsive ;) We did a fair bit of short canters even with some less experienced riders in our group.
It just took a bit longer than expected to actually get going, so bring LOTS of time and enjoy the Spanish way of life. ;)

the place is a nice quite village in the middle of hills, the horses are super sweet and all of them have a story to tell you. The love and commitment of the owners of the place are the add on that make the difference. A very pleasant experience.

A unique place where the horses receive the best care imaginable, being free in the fields every day. I hope most people will agree that one can only really enjoy riding a horse, when we can be sure the horses are treated well.
A wide network of horse riding trails will give you the opportunity to explore the surroundings, riding through forest, along clear small rivers and streams or wide open spaces with views of the nearby mountains.
