Visited the caves with our 5-year old daughter without any expectations. Were we surprised! Beautiful formations and breathtaking underground chambers, coupled with a break from the heat makes for a very interesting outing. Highly recommend if you're in the neighbourhood.

Unlike cuevas de nerja these caves are not tour guided which left you to perusal at your own pace. They are different types of caves to nerja but just as beautiful. The caves are smaller but with the lakes the time flies and before you...More

Decided to walk there on a Monday. It was lucky, since we were told it was free on mondays. Interesting caves full of history. Something to do other than sunbathing. Commentary machines gives you a lot more out of the caves.

About a 20 minute walk from centre of Rincon, with second half uphill. The caves are spooky and eerie and interesting to see. You are provided with a spoken commentary as you go round.

The caves make for a fun visit. Cost was about 9 euros for two and included an audio guide which was good but only has 8 entries!

Spent a relaxing hour walking around the caves and finding out about their formation and historical significance. Fantastic place to visit and ideal if you want to get away from the scorching sun and relax. Very quiet when we visited and made it easier to...More
