A significant historical place
Nov 2019
The church is in Middle Town along the Island main road and beside the 16 century building are two grave of two friends Captain Thomas Warner and Samuel Jefferson (great grand father of Thomas Jefferson). It holds a significant historical interest to the history of invasion of the West Indies

Beautiful Epithet

I am saddened by the reviews of this historic monument. If you do not find it and the story of Sir Thomas Warner interesting, you have a poor tour guide. The best tour guide on the island, Mr. Thenford Gray, tells a riveting tale then recites the epithet as he learned it in school many years ago. With his clear accent and lovely voice, his recitation is one of the highlights of all the tours I have taken in many countries. Read up on the history of the places you will see. It is well worth the time and effort.

Quaint and historic churchyard

Though the church is a bit run down and the cemetery could be better cared for, the historical significance of the site on the Caribbean side of the island, near Old Town, and the families buried here make this a good stop for history buffs and nature lovers. The guide is the key- some can tell you much more than others. I highly recommend guides from the tourism ministry.

Not a highly suggested attraction, I did not get expected attraction in this place, but yes, Old Town is sounds interesting. Area of Downtown is sooty. I can't say that this is the best Attractions in Frigate Bay.

This is an easy to find attraction that is nothing to write home about, however, it is worth a stop to get a picture. Grounds maintenance at the cemetery is performed on an irregular basis, however, this should not interfere with getting a few good photos.

Church in a bad way
Jun 2012 • Friends
Thomas Jefferson's ancestor Samuel's tomb was next to Warners; Old Town is very interesting; but the church is an eyesore and was closed; the tower has not been repaired yet after I believe Hurricane Hugo in 1989

Ok but not what we expected. Downtown is very dirty, run down but yet their unemployment is low per the locals.
