We went out not once but twice this visit! Amazing trip both times. Caught yellow fin tuna on the first trip with some skipjacks and a large red snapper and smaller ones on the second! We highly recommend them for your charters here in Costa Rica!!!

Everything was as promised, picked us up at the beach in front of the resort, the crew was excellent, the food on the boat was good, better than others we have been on. I requested american beer and they found it for me. The crew worked very hard in rough water to find fish. Definitely will use them again.

Leadered one nice sailfish and an ~300# blue marlin. Barnacle II is older, but well-kept and clean, rides very well. Captain and crew knowledgeable and coordinated. Crew very focused, worked hard to keep ballyhoo in the water - smaller fish (mahi ?) taking off the back halves. Will use Barnacle II again when at Pappagayo.

Full day charter on the Tuna fish. The morning started off a little slow with only a mahi mahi in the boat by lunchtime, but the captain and his mate never stopped working hard to put us on fish. The action quickly picked up after lunch with a nice sailfish followed quickly by a huge mahi mahi. A short time later we boated another very nice sailfish. The captain and his mate were too notch and worked extremely hard to make our day a success!

Went with Captain Nelson and had a great day. The crew worked hard and was very personable. The boat is a really nice size and is well set up for the offshore fishing we did. Seemed like a nice balance between comfort, functionality, and price. We landed mahi for everyone and then hooked a massive marlin that we fought for about an hour before my mistake set it free. Hoping to visit this area again some day. If I do, I will look these guys up again without hesitation.
