Absolutely the best quality food we have had in 2 months of travel and it’s at a great price! People are so friendly and super attentive. Made sure we were comfortable and they keep your beverage filled. Curry was amazing so came back a second time for Pad Thai. LOVE this place. I don’t usually review restaurants but this one deserved it!!!!

I would highly recommend this cooking class. My teacher (the owner) has been cooking for decades, including several years in a 4-star hotel. But she is down-to-earth and very friendly. I learned about the various ingredients and techniques to make a perfect Thai meal. But it wasn't just tips: she teaches about attaining the right flavor balance in each dish, as well as a lot of side information (did you know that a tea made from lemongrass and apples helps with joint pain?). They will also accommodate dietary restrictions - we substituted tofu for meat because I am vegetarian. I feel confident I can re-create what I prepared. You also get a recipe book, and of course, you can eat what you made (and get a box to take home any leftovers). Highly recommended!

My passion for food is unreal , one or my favourite parts of life . It was first time visiting an Asian country for me and Christ , street food and other food was destroying me and making me sick . So I had to up my game and didn't want to give up on Thai food. So looked for more hygencic places and came across this gem . Food was so good and so cheap and very friendly service . Went there most days . Would like to go back and do cooking course aswell . Never saw a disappointed face in there either. Me and my mate were getting two different main meals each , drinks , couple of starters each and was coming to 600baht max , don't think I will ever go to a Thai place in UK , rip off and no where as good.

Mind blowing!!! Stop looking for restaurants, this will fully satisfy your desires and taste buds in all possibilities (if you want to explore traditional thai cusine). After my first visit i have decided to only eat here for the rest of my stay on Samui, as i am tired of trying worthless tourist trap restaurants. Everything - from service to presentation to cleanliness to kindness to prices is on point. The food is just excellent, well balanced and not drenched in oil or fish sauce like other places. Water gets served for free and you can even attend cooking classes and learn how to master plentiful thai recipies. Trust me i know what im talking about when it comes to food and i am blown away. Enjoy!

I’m sure that this cooking class is normally amazing, and I’m sorry to be writing this review, based on the others we were just very unlucky on our visit! The normal teacher was away so we had the manager of the restaurant as our teacher, and we were taught in the restaurant sitting at low tables instead of at the proper school upstairs. We were also abandoned multiple times (once for 20 minutes) so the manager could go and tend to guests in the restaurant. To top this all off, the electricity went, so the next two hours of the class were done in darkness, with no aircon. Can’t make it up! Thank goodness I had my phone torch. The only compensation we got was a glass of wine and a recipe book. The food was delicious and the manager lovely, and on a normal day the class would have been great, but we paid the same amount and did not receive the same experience we were promised. In all honesty, the manager should have refused bookings, as it was not up to scratch.

This was one of the best experiences in Thailand. We learned to cook Thai food and even got to keep the recipes! The instructor was super friendly and answered any and all questions we had about the food. They were even able to accommodate both mine and my boyfriend's dietary/allergy requests last minute.

Roong, the instructor, was super accommodating and very funny. During class, she took a lot of care to not only explain what steps we needed to take, but to also explain why certain ingredients are necessary and the purpose of each ingredient. I definitely learned alot of interesting tidbits, like how oyster sauce is so thick because there's cornstarch in it, so if you add oyster sauce to meats it'll make the meat more tender.

The preparation takes most of the time and then you head upstairs to do the actual cooking. The entire class lasts around three hours and then you take however long you enjoy the meal.

All the recipes are provided to you in a booklet to take home and you have the option to take photos of other recipes from other classes (the menu changes depending on the day/time you take the class)

The food was delicious too!! I would definitely recommend taking a class if you're in Koh Samui!

We had a great experience at SITCA. The class itself is fairly long, and the preparation of the dishes takes a while, but the teachers are very knowledgable and walk you through all of the steps for 4-5 dishes. The actual cooking takes only 10 minutes or so, and then you get to enjoy them! Highly recommend the class for those looking to learn how to make a few Thai dishes.

The instructor was amazing!! She taught us all sorts of different vegetables used in the dishes and made sure we were engaged throughout the whole process. My gf was also vegan so she accommodated for her. AMAZING AND STAFF!!

Some may say that the price of about 1,650 Bhat is pricey for a cooking class but honestly it isn't.

We learnt how to make a number of dishes and then enjoyed them for lunch; the food was different than that you have in run of the mill setups and it's special.

They also serve amazing Thai food and the sticky rice & mango I had here was the best in Thailand, and believe me I went to very fancy places.

Totally worth it if you are looking for a different experience.
