Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and stayed longer than anticipated. Great for history buffs, but kids would be bored.

Fascinating journey through the War tunnels of Jersey. They were dug by the thousands of prisoners of war to build hospitals for wounded soldiers during WW2.also interesting exhibitions of how the people of the Channel Islands coped with the five years of German occupation. Everyone...More

A really enjoyable but haunting experience that brings home the darker side of the occupation home. A must see visit if you are there and realise what could of happened, luckily it didn't and we can enjoy an historic location as it now stands.

Good documentation of the history and how people must have felt during the occupation; both sides. The tunnels are huge, not narrow at all; if you suffer from claustrophobia you can visit the tunnels without problems (I managed!). Well done! Take a jacket or sweater...More

Definately worth the £12.00. You could spend a full morning here if you take your time.
How do you get to the tunnels and what is the cost for entry

Take the vintage bus from St Helier, I think it was £6 return and it'll drop you at the door. Can't remember admission fee but it wasn't much and well worth it.
How long does it take to get round the tunnels?

It all depends on you, and the people you are with, because you may look at things for longer- but overall 2-2 1/2 hours is usually how long it would take. It is a very good day out :)
