Having visited the palace in the town centre and seen paintings hung there by the Scicli group, I wanted to see more. If you are in Scicli this gallery is worth a look. I think the painters show the exquisite light of Sicily as well as the beautiful countryside. My favourite was an abstract picture of the sea, understated but capturing the essence of it.

The Scicli artists group have paintings here - very interesting making one of the best small galleries I have visited. Elegant space with high ceilings and easy walk from Scicli centre. Free to enter and good staff

Elegant and distinctive modern art gallery. Nice change of pace from the kitschy tourist stuff. Beautiful space with high vaulted ceilings. Nice selection of art books and prints as well as paintings.
