At the very gates of Bordeaux, the Cru Bourgeois, Chateau Saint Ahon will welcome you warmly in a delightful setting, Best of Or Wine Tourism 2013. Property of Charles de Montesquieu in the 18th century, the castle is now listed as a "Remarkable Monument". Chateau Saint Ahon was destroyed during the French Revolution. It was reconstructed during the First Empire and restored in 1875 in Louis XIII's style. We propose you a lot of activities: a wine and gourmets products shop, guided tour and wine tasting,a fun promenade Les Jardins de Mirabel, 3 gites, a reception room and camping-car area.

Pleases adults and children alike. Good wine for the grown ups and animals and a playground for the kids. Nice getaway only 20 min from Bordeaux

A very pleasant way to spend an hour or two especially if you have children. Gift shop had a wide range of reasonably price gifts considering it was small. Helpful staff
