The section from the tunnel to Waihi is fun and spectacular. Other sections are less interesting, mainly farmland

Awesome place. Amazing scenery. The walks are wonderful. There are all sirts of different things to see. Swim in tge beautiful river. Walk/ ride through the tunnel. Take in all the history. All for free.something for everyone and all fir free!!

Bump! I'd love to know the answer too as thinking about taking our 10mth old. The bike rental guy said people do take little ones and they often fall asleep!
