This little beach is tucked away down a dirt track but when you get there, wow!

Best when the tide is in otherwise the water goes out a long way and is pretty shallow but there are waves, the most stunning white sand and thr most turquoise water!

Well worth seeking out

I read reviews that this beach is the dirtiest. What is the best near the Eleksir Hotel. As a result (during the maximum low tide) I discovered that the beach near the Eleksir hotel is terrible and completely unsuitable for swimming at this time. But on Ao Sai you can swim (though it’s better to wear shoes), the water is clear and there is a lot of sand, a lot of crabs. By the way, there was almost no garbage (the disbelief of the Thai administration came across the reviews and corrected the situation). On the shore, a Thai grandmother was selling cold drinks for the price of Seven Eleven. So I think the beach is best for swimming at low tide. Of course, it doesn’t compare even close to Long Beach on the Phi Phi Islands, but many people don’t go to Yao Yai Island for the beaches - inexpensive accommodation, local flavor, you can comfortably ride a scooter without fear of being run over by a truck, a minimum of stoned drug addicts, an abundance of monkeys, nightlife silence are just some of the benefits...
