I was very impressed to see that sacred site of karaite, 200 people unique nation. It was amazing to learn that Turks took 330 or so words from karaite language during Ataturk time. Karaites are Jews speaking Turkic language.

Torah jews. Not Ashcanazi talmud jews. Fascinating. Beautiful place. These are the jews that came from the Khazars and did not keep traveling to Europe.

A truly unique place worth visiting, regardless your own beliefs. It is calm, full of light and God's energy. One of those place which are really powerful, not depending on belonging to a certain religion or ethnic group.
