Visited the gardens and ended up spending the whole afternoon here. They are very well maintained and very beautiful. They have plants and trees from all over. And ponds with swans, geese ducks. They have peacocks wandering around too. Peaceful place to wander and sit.

The gardens are great and trees are labelled which is ideal for all plant lovers. The vegetation is very varied too.

Walked through these gardens which were lovely, stopped at the cafe and had a drink which was very reasonable. Would be good for kids as lots of playground area.

The garden was very overrated. The fountain wasn't working. The garden was bare apart from the trees. It smelt of cat crap and it was over run with stray cats.

Wow, beautiful gardens - even in mid January. Thoroughly enjoyed a slow wander throughout these gardens. Will definitely visit again.

it is a small, hidden green oasis in Malta, where you can hide away from the heat, noise and dust. It is very interesting it has explanation of all the species present and there are some birds relaxing there net to you :()

We visited San Anton Gardens in mid September. The gardens are shady, and there are peacocks strutting about and lots of ponds with ducks, swans...and in one pond....sunbathing terrapins! The gardens also have a dragon fountain which reminded us of "Game of Thrones" which was...More

The best and safest way to get to San Anton gardens by bus is to go to Valletta and get the number 54 bus which stops right near the gardens
