The slopes are well groomed. Great runs for all levels. It was very cold so dress appropriately. Ski passes and rental gear (boots, ski’s and poles) was about 1300 euro for 4 people.

Levi town has lots of attractions but they do hit the tourists with increased pricing.

Was impressed with the slopes, and also the Levi ski app which was very good.
Majority of our stay the gondola wasn't running so we got the bus to the south slope which was free there but had to pay coming back, the first time we did this I tried to buy the ticket for €3 for the day but was told its ok the bus is free, when we tried to return to Zero point the bus driver was very aggressive insisting we payoff the return which was €4 for a single journey. When we questioned this the next day the lady apologised and said that as there is a route over the top (although I presume the reason the gondola was off was because the visibility was none existence which we found out one day) back it wasn't free on our return so she allowed me to purchase the €3 day pass. On our return another couple were having the same conversation with a different bus driver so it seems a common occurrence and the sceptic in me thinks they must make a good amount by shutting the gondola down and getting the people to the south slope to pay €4 to return.

Hi, thank you for your review! We are happy to hear you enjoyed our slopes and Levi Resort App! We are sorry to hear you were not 100% satisfied with us, and that the use of the Ski bus has been unclear. Basically, there is a charge for using the ski bus, so you have done the right thing by trying to buy a ticket. Our customer service staff must have meant well when told you that you do not need a ticket at that moment. If the lifts have had to be closed, for example, due to wind so that you cannot ski to the other side of the center, then you can use the ski bus free of charge to the next stop, from where you can continue your journey by skiing. Immediately after the lifts are opened, the ski buses are paid as usual according to the normal price list. According to the price list, the ski bus sells only one-way tickets (4€), and from the ski pass office, it's possible to buy a 1-day area ticket for 4 euros or with a valid ski lift pass for 3 euros. As a ski resort, we naturally want to offer our customers the best possible skiing experience, so we will open the lifts as soon as possible, and situations can sometimes change very quickly. Thank you for your feedback, we will use this to improve our services further. Hope to see you here again! With regards, Ella / Levi Ski Resort

Wonderful winter wonderland, really unspoilt, lots of skiing, and winter sports tied to local cultures. Friendly populace, English spoken everywhere, mountain was safe if cold at -20C. Sirkka village is at the foot of the ski slopes and walkable end to end in 20 minutes but bustles regardless. Taxis readily available to the local Elf village and we even met Father Christmas despite being early January. And in its white coat and twilight the countryside is breathtakingly beautiful and eerie. Lots to do, slightly expensive for UK travellers but less so if you were from Switzerland. We’ve had a great time just doing the usual tourist trail, night horse ride, skidoos, snow shoeing, etc. but we’d come back for the skiing.

This is a wonderful resort: comfortable well-groomed slopes, many elevators, enough information - everything is at the highest level. The resort is great for families and beginners.
But…
During the return of the rental skis, the seller said that the surface of the skis was scratched and demanded a fee in the amount of a third of the rental price. I am an elderly man, I skied very carefully and only on the snow, I took not the skis into the city and could not scratch them in any way. It became clear why, when issuing, the seller suggested that I make sure that the surface of the skis was intact: it means that the sellers know in advance that scratches will be visible on the surface, which are hidden by grinding before issuing. It looks like the store has found a way to generate extra income.
It is a pity that a good impression was spoiled.

We were a group of 4. 1 really good experienced skier, 2 who had been 6 and 10 times and were comfortable on blues and easy reds and 1 non skier.
We met a lot of people who had been every year for 7 years plus and I can see why. The ski school was very good. It isn’t crowded and hardly any queuing.

Some of the blues are very easy - too easy and you need to push to move. Reds are good for building confidence and there’s a great half pipe at zero point.
The downside is most of the lifts are drag lifts and button lifts and quite long.

7 days skiing in Levi was probably our best family holiday.
My wife and I had lessons each morning with a great instructor (Marko).
The location was superb and our lodge was just 5 mins walk from the slopes.
We also enjoyed a few hours snowmobile riding in search of theNorthern Lights.
Husky experience was great, we all had a go as a passenger and as the Musher.
Ice karting was great fun for the whole family and well worth while.
The whole of Levi has a very welcoming feel and the restaurant’s we tried were all top notch, although not the cheapest for a family of 4.
Advanced skiers would probably be disappointed as the slopes may not be challenging enough.
Overall, thoroughly enjoyed Levi

What a phenomenal ski area.

I wasn’t too sure when my wife suggested going here but I’m so glad we went and we totally loved it. It is the first time ever I have done every run in a resort and really enjoyed every one of them.

Only thing I would like to see to make it even better is a gondola from zero point up to the top, as the long T bar and difficulty of getting to the rest of the mountain would be tough for many less accomplished skiers.

Hi, thank you for the wonderful review! We are very happy to hear you enjoyed our slopes. Thank you also for the feedback, it is important to us as we develop our operations. It is true that the T-bar lift from Front Slopes to the rest of the mountain might be challenging for some skiers. However, the T-bar can also be skipped by taking the ski bus to the sunny South Slopes and starting the day from there :) Hope to see you here again sometime! All the best, Essi / Levi Ski Resort

We loved it here! The snow and skiing are amazing. A big plus was that the slopes are uncrowded. Hiring equipment and getting lift and bus passes was easy and the staff were always friendly, patient and helpful. Ski instructors spoke excellent English and our skills improved so much. Our Christmas excursions were super fun and the town is a perfect size with nice shops, cafes and restaurants. Despite Covid times we had a magical, memorable experience :)

Difficult to write this review as it all depends what you come here for.
The good points are it’s a safe place to come and the quality of skiing is great. Loads of runs for different levels.
Accommodation is plentiful and again can suit your pocket.
On the plus side it wasn’t busy so no crowding.
There are other things to do like snowmobiling , reindeer safari , husky safari and of course hopefully seeing the Northern lights.
On the negative side. Evening entertainment is pretty slack. About 4 pubs serving very very expensive food and alcohol.
A few restaurants ..again expensive.
Supermarket expensive.
I totally understand that taxation is high on many products and a lot of things are imported.
Just stating you’ll need deep pockets.
Not much atmosphere here either like in France and Austria where night life is much better.
It’s very cold as well -22 when we were there.
Would I come here again ? No but enjoyed ourselves.
Think there are better places for much better value.

Late spring trip to Levi - part of the family was downhill skiing, part doing nordic skiing and everyone were super happy. Well done in all the cafés and restaurants with the covid restrictions, too. Everything works well and feels safe. Thank you Levi!
