We found the basilique of Josselin a very impressive church. There are some very old parts there to be discovered, such as the fresco's. Welcoming atmosphere; sometimes there are free organ concerts. We visited one. Impressive!

Climbing to the top of the bell tower will give you the great view of the Village 360 degrees. Entry is free but tourists can voluntary give an amount as donation to the guard of the day. The church interior displays the lovely stained glass...More

What a beautiful building, both externally and internally. Warm and inviting irrespective of the season. Votive candles available at the various altars. Exudes peace, faith and love... a calm and tranquil Oasys in the heart of the town, but evidence of a lively and active...More

Not so much the architecture which is impressive enough but the thoroughly uplifting chorus from the choir/congregation.....a moment in time, long to remember

The church of Josselin is not too large nor too small, it is beautifully proportioned. The "vitraux" or stained glass are breathtaking. They also play the organ on Saturday evening, you can walk in and listen, truly an out of time experience. Since the doors...More

The tourist information centre told us of the free climb to the top of the Basilica. It was very windy and quite cold, but the views are wonderful looking over the slate roof tops.

We found this in the Place D Mairie where you can walk up the tower for free. The Church itself has several good quality stained windows
