Centennial Beach is on the South West side of Boundary Bay. It used to be a quiet quaint location for families to enjoy the summer. It has lovely views of Mnt. Baker and the San Juan islands to the South. There is a covered picnic area, several picnic tables and fire pits. The area has been "modernized". There is a... More

I used to live nearby and have been coming here for years since I was a child. My Dad taught me how to drive a stick in the parking lot. This is a great beach in the Lower Mainland. Not as busy as the more well known Vancouver beaches, but can still get crowded on a hot summer weekend. Water... More

Centennial Beach has something for everyone. Good change rooms and washrooms for the beach in the summer. The concession stand ( open in season). A great kids playground, picnic benches for family get togethers. Nice sandy beach which goes out forever at low tide. A bicycle and walking path that extends for miles and miles... maps posted on site. There... More

Centennial beach is a great beach to spend the day. The calm and shallow waters make it prefect for swimming. There are quite trails if you'd like to go for a walk.

Went two back to back days- first day was cold, took a quick stroll and took a few pictures. Second day got some clear pictures of the mountains and spent some time exploring the trails. Great kids area. Would be great to go back in the summer.

What a tremendous and enjoyable place for the family to enjoy: Bird watching, the childrens' play area, the vast space along the beach for barbequing or just having fun flying kites or playing games! How lucky we are to have Centennial Beach. Let's cherish it and protect it.

Love this beach. It's very natural yet is has a really good childrens playground and picnic tables and a nice little restaurant/take out place. When the tide is out you can walk forever. There are little pools of water where young children can splash around. The nature walks are lovely and you most likely will spot an eagle or two.... More
