Beautiful place, but too many tourists

It's a place to visit but it's already very crowded with boats with tourists. In 15 mins u have to make all your pictures and enjoy the cave as much as you can.

A nice short ride on a sturdy row boat around the lake. Cost was 7 euros. The guide was friendly and even took photos of us so we didn't have to pretend we had a selfie stick. My partner is scared of boats and even she enjoyed it.

We arrived on a coach trip, but we're lucky not to have to queue. Charming q guides who like to sing 😊

Quite a unique view and well worth the trip. The boat ride lasts for about 15 to 20 mins and the guide was quite entertaining too. The place is well signposted so very easy to fined. It's a shame you can not go to the top and look down.

The caves contain what used to be a completely underground lake and water course. The lake was only discovered when part of the roof caved in. Subsequently a 'geological phenomena' was discovered where the sea water enters an underground system and travels underground across the island and appears later on the other side. This was tracked by scientists who put... More

A wonderful place for photography. Not expensive and you get rowed around the lake by a friendly native!

One of the most beautiful and awe-inspiring places you'll ever visit. Entry is around 7 euros for adults, kids under 6 go free. Takes in a boat trip. Tip: Go on a sunny day and, if possible, not as part of a tour group. That way you'll get a more intimate and interesting tour.

Definitely worth the drive from Scala. Got great pictures of the cave and the surroundings. Friendly staff. We also liked the Sami port and walked around the town. Good place to have lunch or a drink on the pier sidewalk tavernas.

Thank Edith E
