The view from the top of Mt Oberon was amazing - 5 star. Well worth the 3.4km walk up hill (and the same back down - but much easier). The Tidal River camping area (not school holidays) was great. We had a 'pop-top' camper and managed to find a great spot towards the beach (near ramp 4). The beach and... More

Let me first say the actual Prom park itself is amazing, breathtaking and worth visiting. so much, that Parks Victoria have decided in their wisdom to insult the intelligence of not only local Aussies but also our International travellers by ripping them off with their ridiculous charges. So they cram campers into mostly terrible awful sites alongside each other, some... More

Absolutely stunning walks along the beaches and through the bush! We came here in the first week of December, which meant no school holidays just yet and not many people in general as Christmas is approaching. We had a mild day (~21*C), which was perfect as some of the walks did get us a little bit sweaty despite being active!... More

This was our favorite place in our 30 day holiday to Australia. It was not crowded in mid October. The birds were mostly water birds, so not the best birding in OZ, but the wildlife was phenomenal. The scenery was marvelous.

We drove through Wilsons Promontory National Park as a side trip on our way to Inverloch. The admission was free and he road in was very good. We stopped a couple of beaches and one was called squeaky beach for when you walked on the sand it squeaked! Our last stop was Tidal River and there were places to picnic... More

Sqeaky beach is great for couples friends or famalies. I loved the beach so much returned to see the sunset after some hiking. A meandering hike in lilly pilly gully was great to stretch the legs (about 1.50 return walk). If you looking for a shorter hike, the tidal river boardwalk had sensational views and only took 20 mins for... More

Many hiking tracks are throughout this wonderful Promontroy. Some easy walking others need more effort and stamina. Quite a few wild animals are along the roads and hiking trails. Views to stun around every corner.

Wilsons Prom should be on everyone's bucket list. Absolutely incredible scenery with perfect beaches, wonderful rock formations and a range of paths to explore. There is also plenty of native wildlife to see if you are lucky. Highly recommended.
