I joined the Colleoni Murano Glass Factory Tour and Workshop and I had an incredible experience! Once in Murano we were greet by the factory owners and participated at a glass blowing demonstrations by a glass master. This was amazing, we learnt a lot about glass blowing and the master also asked us to come up to try working the... More

The master glass maker was extraordinary to watch. He made it look so effortless. He made a detailed complex piece - a horse in less than a minute. We also watched some of the other glass makers in the shop. We also did a workshop where we made jewelry from some glass beads from the factory. That was fun. They... More

My family and I visited Venice for an extended weekend. We decided to make a Sunday day trip to Murano. We visited the Colleoni glass factory early Sunday morning. We were greeted by the owner and given a private glass making exhibition. It was amazing watching the master glass maker effortlessly craft a chandelier. The cost of the exhibition (€10/pp)... More

My wife and I were boated out to Colleoni Glass Factory, where we viewed a glass blowing demonstration. Then we were taken for a tour of their gallery. They have a very large selection of items which are all quite interesting. We made a purchase which we carried home to the States without breaking. The boat ride to and from... More

Went on the Island Tours: Murano, Burano and Torcello. Murano, famous for it's glass, visited here, had a live demo of glass making, was interesting to watch and had a full on commentary in English as well. Then had an opportunity to visit the shop, lovely final pieces, but a bit too pricey for my liking.

Welcomed by the owner (sorry didn't catch his name) and was offered drinks while he explained his family and the factory's history. Watched a man blowing a vase and making a horse model with our guide explaining the process. Toured the beautiful glass galleries and made a bracelet in the workshop run by his daughter Sophia. Excellent morning, very enjoyable... More

Wow factor deluxe. But not for anyone to shop here! Really impressive glass work, no words. Felt like I went into a shop out of ordinary people's league. But wow! Is amazing the art of glass they offer

I have taken my student travel groups here twice while on tour in Italy. I have been to other glass factories in Venice with students, but this one is the best! It seems like a family business which was nice too. The staff has their repertoire down pat and efficiently usher you from the receiving area where you get a... More

Appreciated the art of glass blowing and our guide was fantastic. He knew we were in the market for glass art so he took very good care of us! You need to realize the quality of these art pieces therefore having a hefty price tag. If you feel the need to complain about it you don't need it! Many cruise... More

Apparently a part of the shop is for big buyers. It means that if you don't look wealthy they come to see you and ask you to leave. Funny how they are condescending and haughty. There is the same exhibition for free 30m further. Please don't give them 1cts.
