Cultural tourism in Tanzania was another thing I enjoyed in Tanzania with Rede Tours as my tour based on learning and exproling the culture of people from Kagera Tanzania. My your was nice and awesome I learnt a lot basing on life style, cooking food, singing and dancing their natural songs with many elements of music. I real appreciates the support of rede tours and safaris best tour operator in Tanzania for organizing my cultural tour.

Not On My Bucket List, But Glad I Did It Machame 7 Days From our initial contact with Rede tours to our sendoff certificate ceremony after the hike, everything was great. The team was always prompt in responding to my many emails and questions. We were interested to book with them because they are listed on Trip Advisor with excellent reviews. Logistically, everything went great. We booked the deluxe package. Major differences included in the Deluxe Package are a nicer hotel in Moshi, private toilet and better meals. You definitely want a private toilet. The hotel is not a big deal. I don't know how the meals were better than the lower levels of hikes. The driver was at the airport to pick us up and take us to the hotel. The hotel was fine. And is near from the hike starting point. We stayed at the River trees Lodge after the hike which was closer to the trail head. I'd recommend staying here instead. The hike was great. There were only 2 of us, the porters were great. They had the camps set up by the time we got to the next site. Everything was in order. The food was always abundant and varied. Steven, the main cook was very good. There was much more food than we could eat. Every breakfast included porridge. There was a variety of eggs, bacon, sausage, "pancakes" toast etc. Lunch & dinner always started with soup followed by a huge meal. Every meal was different with fresh meat vegetables and fruit. Only thing missing was dessert. Our guide, Gabriel, was good. However, we felt he could've been more engaging. Assistant guide, Kelvin was very good. Faridu, always had a smile and was there to help. It was the birthday for my partner while we were on the trip. I told Godfrey and he said that the crew would do something for that. When i mentioned this to Gabriel on the date, he did not know anything about it. Apparently there was a failure to communicate. Gabriel asked if he could do something the next day. The next day, the entire crew came into the dining tent singing and carrying a big decorated cake. They had called down to town and had a cake brought up to the camp!! This was quite a big surprise. They went out of their way to make the birthday special. We both made it to the summit. Unfortunately it was during a snow storm. Hiking Kilimanjaro was not a dream for me, it was for my partner. However, I am glad for the experience.
