Lovely little marina with a sea lock, a couple of pubs and a Tiptree Cafe. Very "low key" as most of the creeks and marinas are in this part of the world. Wonderfully under commercialised!!!

One of the best places to visit in Essex, two pubs, one excellent tea room, all good for food and refreshment, you cannot fail to find something you like here, that's apart from the views.

I absolutely love the cafe and there’s a couple of pubs. Does get busy when the sun is out but it’s no surprise because it’s such a nice place to be. Excellent for walking/dog walking too!

Lovely village formed where the Chelmer Canal meets the river Blackwater - a great tea shop, two pubs and fantastic walks along the sea wall. Free public car park but in the summer it does get very busy. Well worth a trip

Or you go to Maldon Promenade Park on the other side of the river. They have a nice lake for crabbing and model boats.
