Trash and insufficient maintenance

The basic fee is 7$ but if you don't want to walk you can rent a bicycle or a driver with golf car.

It‘s a calm place. First stop you can spot on a passarelle many birds. The end of the walk is a beach with pebble and dead corals where you can snorkel.

Unfortunately there is a lot of trash during the hike, the picknick spot and the beach unworthy for a natural parc. The signposts are broken.

Beautiful and well preserved park. No bikinis allowed for women!

It was beautiful and very peaceful! We went there mostly for snorkeling than for bird watching. The receptionnist wasn't very welcoming and didn't give us any explanations. Ok we asked to visit and snorkel by ourselves and without a guide, but still...we had to ask whether there was any restrictions or rules we might want to know.

So this might be the only place where you can swim in Addu since we didn't find any information concerning beaches and what is accepted as swimwear.

I had to ask the receptionnist who then told me that bikinis aren't allowed. Hopefully i had a snorkelling tshirt.

To be honest with that kind of sun it's better to be wearing one but still it would be nice to know beforehand about it. What i still don't know is if shorts should be worn. We didn't encounter anyone so we didn't have any problems and i didn't think to ask the first time.

Great snorkeling and bird watching

A well-kept nature park that offers an easy and short (about 1km) walk out to the point where there is good snorkeling, but mind the currents, which can be quite strong. Along the way there are great bird watching opportunities.
