Whilst mainly a "homage" to the Mosquito (3 on display) the other de Havilland aircraft and exhibits nicely round off the museum to make it an interesting visit and well worth dropping of the M25 (at Jcn22) to visit.

Ordinarily a museum visit involves trapesing around dusty exhibits hoping that the information cards give some sort of sense as to what is displayed, not here, the museum lives as one with the curators and volunteers for it is they who really bring this museum...More

A little difficult to find. But once you do it's well worth a visit. The staff are very polite and helpful. The guides tell you all about the aircraft in a very interesting and informal way. Well worth the £9 fee.

We popped in for a quick look on our way home to Southampton from Cambridge. We ended up spending four hours there. All the staff are very friendly and willing to answer any questions. There are many interesting exhibits, including aircraft you can enter and...More

The people here are clearly expert at what they know but they are trying to achieve so much. There is a lovely feel to the place but it is amateur with just one employed staff member so be kind. Look at the exhibits and pay...More

I've been going to this museum for years now, and I never tier of it. This time we took the grandchildren, as they like planes. They loved going inside the planes that were open, sitting in the seats, and seeing where the pilot sat etc....More

This museum is tucked away down a small winding lane, however once your in the car park , you know you are in the right place for De Havilland aeroplanes and aviation history. From the moment you walk into the entrance, the staff cannot do...More

Went as a family with 9y/o son. Easy to find straight off the motorway although entrance is very close to some houses. Most exhibits are outdoors. Not a huge museum but well run and good exhibits which you can climb into. Son sat in the...More

A fascinating local museum dedicated to the planes made by De Havilland. Not hi-tech like a lot of new museums, but the numerous volunteers available were all more than happy to help and very knowledgeable about the myriad of planes on show and being renovated....More

Sorry, cannot remember. I thought there was an entrance fee but I may well be wrong. It may be on their web-site. Well worth it whatever it is.

I agree with Roland W. I recall seeing a number of footpath / bridle-path signs on the verges of the nearby lanes.
