My wife and I spent a day on Shoal Bay just to soak in the sunshine. Great beach but on that day, we weren't able to snorkel because of windy conditions and rough waters. The water was too cloudy for snorkeling. It didn't matter... we got what we wanted....sunshine and relaxation.

If you park at Shoal Bay, iyou may want to check out Tropical Sunset. If you have lunch there, you can get some umbrellas and chairs. Lunch there is pretty good too. Many outdoor beach bars dot the coast line there. Do not stop into Manoa. We were going to sit at the bar, I decided to use the ladies... More

Shoal Bay is epic. This is a very special beach. The water is crystal- clear, blue, the sand is white and soft. You can see tiny, tropical fish swimming right next to you. It has a few beach restaurants and bars. You can rent beach chairs or some restaurants offer free chairs when you buy lunch. If you are looking... More

Family of 4 travelling with 2 teens. This trip's last stop in the islands, and it was truly saving the best for last. Sugar white sand and beautiful turquoise water. You'll want to stay for days. Make sure this beach is on your list. Beach perfection!

Our small boat cruise stopped at the following islands during our week: St. Barths, St. Kitts, Nevis and Anguilla. I'm so glad Anguilla and Shoal Bay was our last stop because there is no way to top it! Shoal Bay is Caribbean perfection! I plan to return one day and stay on Shoal Bay.

We took a day trip over by Ferry from St. Martin. This was the only beach we had time to see. The ferry ride is only 30 minutes but between ticketing, passport check on both sides and boarding it's more like an hour and a half. Add another 20-30 minutes to drive from the dock to the beach and the... More

One of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Calm and transparent water, fine pink sand and coral with a rich variety of colorful fish.

A long stretch of white sandy beach with turquoise waters for swimming and snorkeling very close to the shore is a dream come true. At least 5 restaurants satisfy different budgets and palates. For a high season over Christmas and New Year it was not busy and there were plenty of beach chairs to choose from ($5.00 in some spots... More
