Another gorgeous beach on Lewis and Harris, but what makes Mangersta stand out is the marvellous cliff top walk and the view of the sea stacks. A bracing walk, close vigilance needed over children - it was rather blowy up there in April! But when...More

Tranquil, remote, with lots of options walking and exploring around Isle of Lewis, accommodation in Shepherds Hut has been spot on.

Lovely huge wide landscape - the sort you can absolutely lose yourself in but not very easy to find and we needed to stop some locals and ask !

Stunning place, but can be a little windy, and with cliffs that high it can be a little scary. Keep a close eye on kids and pets if you visit and don't be silly with the edges

This was by far one of the most memorable stops on my recent trip to Scotland. I explored the cliffs first (reached from the village of Mangersta) overlooking the beaches and sea stacks. What an incredible view! I then made my way (by car) down...More

We recently visited Magersta Sands and it is one of the most scenic setting on the Isle of Lewis. Truly beautiful.
