Lepe is a lovely clean beach with a cafe and toilets. Good car park and it's only £4.00 to park for the whole day. Lovely walk along the sea. Good picnic area and green space. It should be even better next year as it's just under some reconstruction

Beautiful costal walk, even freezing cold couldn't detract from the scenery and wildlife, the lepe visitors centre had a warm and friendly feel, a good selection of hot drinks to warm even the coldest of young walkers

We walk a dog and visit Cornwall a lot where we enjoy long coastal walks and a tearoom. Now we have found one in Hampshire, 4 hours closer to home! Flat walking along the coast and then a wee bit more challenging down on the beach, then even more challenging muddy walk up past the creek and Dan Snows house.... More

A idyllic, beautiful coastal walk with our dog. We have been here many times and absolutely love it here. There is considerable amount of parking at the top of the coastal area and by the coast (the bottom car park) A fantastic day out for couples, families and a lovely big grass area for picnics and family fun time. There... More

We took a 5 and 3 year old grand daughter here to play on a mild winter's afternoon. The playground has a fence surrounding it. There is a slide and climbing frame for the younger children then 2 swings, and various wooded balancing logs. At the end is a tall spider's web. Outside there is plenty of grassy areas for... More

I've been here a couple of times before but I thought I'd take my girlfriend who has never been. I wasn't too sure what it would be like there during December however once getting there it was pretty busy. I was able to easily park up and just watch the sea which was incredibly calm for winter. Lepe Country Park... More

Lepe is one of our favourite places. The beach is a mile long, you can walk on the pebbles but if mobility is an issue you can walk on a more friendly surface above the beach, The views are great of the Isle of Wight, the entrance to the Beaulieu River and the entrance to Southampton Water. As well as... More

A pleasant morning spent walking at Lepe Country park, particularly following the "D-Day at Lepe" Leaflet, documenting the layout of the construction site for components of the prefabricated "Mulberry" floating harbour. The new memorial to the Royal Dragoon Guards at the site, who crewed the "swimming" DD Sherman tanks that embarked from here bound for Normandy, is a fitting tribute... More
