The church is somewhere to walk, cycle or drive to, in an isolated settlement with views of the Swale and the Thames Estuary. It is small and full of interest, especially the modern stained glass windows and the 14th century carved wooden chest.

This church is a hidden gem which is off the beaton path but worth the effort. It's a very quiet place with some lovely views of the coast and countryside and the inside of the church is well worth a visit. Loved the stained glass owl.

Once you find the turn-off on Sheppey's road system (look for a small sign which can be difficult to see -There is a biking trail which also goes all round Sheppy) and you turn towards peace & tranquillity of the Nature Reserve - leading to this quaint little church, Nature Reserve and the Ferry Inn. It is a lovely drive... More

couldnt go in as there was a service being held, but lovely small church though, very quiet, very small headstone for the graves, very sweet.

The church is a slice of history and is well worth a visit. The Harty Ferry Inn is even more remote and seems to open as and when it likes. The food there in neither good or cheap

This could just be the perfect destination for a day out. Once through the hustle & bustle of Sheppey's poor road system you turn towards peace & tranquility. Keep your eyes peeled for the turnoff though as it can be difficult to find. Once found, it's a lovely drive through fields swarming with birdlife to arrive at one of England's... More

Beautiful ancient church in an unrivalled setting overlooking the River Swale across to Whitstable on the mainland. The ancient wooden chest is now restored to its rightful place after being stolen several years ago. Whilst fairly remote, it is certainly worth making the effort to visit.
