The front part of the sunken ship has a rope attached to it which you can hold on to for the (practice) dive :-). The place has lots of fishes, clear water, beautiful corals in a smaller site. There were only two boats (ours and another one) when we were there so it was not crowded.

If you’re just starting to dive, this is an easy spot to get some nice wreck photos at the Skeleton Reef. However, don’t waste your days/ dives on this spot if you haven’t finished the 6 main Japanese sunken shipwrecks.

I visited the Skeleton Reef in my hopping tour in Coron. This is one of the places I prefer most for snorkelling in Coron. You can see a lot of lovely creatures in the sea. Must see for those who love the sea and snorkelling.

We saw lots of great fish, there's only a small snorkel area, but lovely none the less with a small beach.

Our captain volunteered to get shots of the wrecks & marine life using my waterproof Nikon Coolpix. He was able to take lots of photos of groups of fishes and the parts of the ship that wrecked underneath the water. This was the place I saw with my naked eyes schools of fish right by the boat.

The nearby Coral Gardens are much more striking, but this area is easy to snorkel. Our guide also pointed out a few different groups of clownfish who were living in anemones, which was cool. This one one of the stops on Tour B for 750PHP, along with Skeleton Wreck.
