Go by foot - cars not recommended. A good climb up from the sea front, but well worth it for the stunning views and impressive architecture.

Atmosphere of real Italy is here! Grottammare Alta is a tiny town on the hill with amazing views! And if you don't know what you prefer more, the beach or the mountains - it's for you!

If you want a nice place to stay, choose Grottamare instead of San Benedetto...It is finer, nicer and less touristic! We enjoyed our stay there perfectly, take a look at the old town on the mountain!

A very nice place to visit, and considered as one of the most beautiful villages of Italy. In July here you'll find the annual buskers festival, when the village will be crowded of people, but very nice to visit.

Beautiful old town! No cars permitted in the old city ... A nice view from the top of the whole valley and the sea! Small roads with a lot of flowers!
