Once you enter the temple,you will feel the magic of LORD VADAKUNNATHAN.Please make a note of the darshan procedure and follow it.Make sure you visit Paramekkav and Thiruvambadi Temples also.Avoid the Pooram days if you have small children or senior citizens

1. Morning Timings 4.00 AM to 10:30 AM. evening timings 04:00 PM to 8.30 PM. 2. Pant is not allowed , should wear Dhothi 3. The way to perform prayer is written as you enter the temple premise.

For man Dhoti or mundu in Tamil they call Vesti is permitted to enter but without any Shirts or T shirts.

Hi, is saree compulsory for ladies to enter the temple area (even the main courtyard) ? if not, then what is best dress code? a punjabi dress with dupatta?

churidar, saree or long skirts fine for ladies. to enter inside the temple and go in front of shrine, men should remove their shirts..
