Great for a walk if it's shut... such an interesting place! Was a vey cold January afternoon but with the sun shining we decided to make the short trek. Totally worth it. Definitely coming back when it's open.

We went to St Michael's Mount in the August bank holiday. It is just beautiful. We were lucky to be able to walk from the beach to to the castle. After we arrived the tide was in and we had to come back by boat, which was great as well. Beautiful views and I would recommend it to everyone. Make... More

We went here during our UK visit. It looks so picturesque atop the mount. We waited for the tide to go out, spent the day there and caught a boat back as the tide had come in again. The boat ride was cheap.... like 2 pounds p/p.... or something, I cant remember. The castle itself is lived in by the... More

This was our second attempt to walk across the causeway - last time tide was still covering it. Lovely cold sunny day. We knew the castle and grounds were closed but the visitor centre was open and the information and film very informative and we gained a good sense of the history. Will certainly be back when it is fully... More

We had beautiful weather the day we decided to go to St. Michael's Mount. We took one of the ferries out to the Mount and walked around the base. It was pretty crowded the day we went, but it's easy to get around. We hiked up the paths to the cannons. There are great views from this point. I was... More

We holidayed in Marazion in November so St Michaels mount became the stunning back drop to the majority of our holiday photographs. It certainly is a sight to behold and I never got bored of seeing the same view especially at sunrise and sunset. Sadly the view of the mount is the only thing I can praise. We decided to... More

Amazing to watch the tide go out and the causeway to be revealed then to walk across it onto St Michael's Mount Note, check that the castle is open before visiting and make sure you get back before the tide comes in! Keep and eye on children and yourself as the walk can be a bit slippery sometimes

Looks stunning. We were unable to walk out to visit the castle as it was closed over the holidays but I have visited before and it is such a beautiful place.

Great walk across the causeway over to st Michaels mount. No cafes open as nye but just a quick visit before tide came in and back to Marazion for coffee. Such an amazing place well worth a visit at any time of year.

We were lucky because the day was sunny but the view, the walk and the castle are just magnificent. Very nice place to be and to visit
