We were lucky the weather was ok as I imagine the walk over not been very pleasant in the wind and rain as it was the previous day.Nice little harbour but not loads to see or do if you have dogs as they aren't allowed...More

The view from the shore starts the adventure...loved the experience of walking the causeway and entering the tiny village..the views back are breathtaking... My wife and I timed our visit to the outgoing tide and walked across the causeway as it opened. The walk up to the castle is quite steep and very uneven in places but worth the effort. The views from the cannon placements are amazing...More

We enjoyed our trip to St Michael's Mount even though it was a pretty wet and miserable day. The children found the Castle interesting and enjoyed finding their favourite thing and reporting back to the staff at the exit of the castle. They loved collecting...More

This is worth a visit if only for the stunning views, however I would not want to visit in bad weather. The paths are very steep and made of cobbles, so would soon get slippy. The exhibits aren't really up to much, it really is...More

Walked across the causeway at low tide and wandered around this stunning island . Didn't go through the gardens or castle due to high winds and we had two dogs with us but that didn't diminish our enjoyment

We timed our visit for low tide so that we could walk the causeway to and from Saint Michael's Mount. It was a rainy day. We found the access to the castle very slippery even with proper hiking boots. We found the exhibits limited and...More

I’m sorry that you did not enjoy your recent visit. Access is a challenge, especially in wet weather and we are as upfront about this as possible and always warn our visitors in advance. It seems that St Michael’s Mount was not the right attraction...More

Even though it was a windy rainy day, we had a fun time, meeting one of the owls in the barn. Brilliant for kids. Lovely cafe and play area.

We had a lovely day out here on a glorious sunny afternoon. The tide was out so we were able to walk across via the causeway. The castle at the top of the hill although a steep walk is well worth it. Lovely to walk...More

Yes it's a dog friendly place! You won't find many places that aren't dog friendly in Cornwall - the rick stein hotel even invites dogs to the rooms and has special rates for them (they even offer dog sitters).
