Not been home in years, and from the top of Pontypool hill you have great views. And can see history on your door step, the shell Grotto. Amazing in side, and well worth the walk up the hill.

What a beautiful hidden gem. Out of the way and requires a treck from pontypool park. Not suitable for wheelchair chair bound or people unsteady on they're feet. Will defiantly be visiting again

A very nice slow walk with the dogs. All up hill but the views are worth it. Coming back down also enjoyable.

Not open often. Look out for Santa at Christmas. Magical experience for children. Look on Facebook for Friends of Pontypool Park

Stunning inside. A real treat to see. The walls and floors decorated with many shells. This grotto only seems to open around Easter time. Such a shame.
